Wilma Report

Report Date: October 30, 2005

We survived Wilma in good shape. The boat, home health and marina are all in good shape and we are ready to fish.

Wilma wanted a new boat

Of course some in our area were not so lucky. Of course we are all much luckier than those on the Gulf Coast.

Our last fishing trip was with Capt. Harry ( fishing tackle shop fame), Capt Sef (wahoo champion), Capt Matt (TV's The Bite), Scott ( camera man plus) and myself. We fished on Saturday night before the storm and caught 2 big grouper, a 33.9 inch snook, a ladyfish and a couple small jacks. We also jumped several tarpon. On October 29th the few boats out reported big seas, plenty of dolphin and sailfish.

I knew this shortcut to my slip

We have plenty of open dates over the next few months. Sailfish, dolphin, mackerel and grouper will be very active. E mail me at capt.bouncer@att.net or come to our Sails and Swords seminar at Dusky Sport Center (954-922-8890) 6 PM on November 17th.

We will also be at the Miami Billfish Tournament Conservation Night at the Mast Academy on November 10th to chat with fishing friends and listen to Dr Eric Prince as he brings us up to date on the latest info on circle hooks and satelite tagging info.
